An unimaginable crime has been done by Quinn Alexander.

Quinn flees to avoid being imprisoned for the rest of her life. She departs from her family, her career, and her home. Before the police can find out what she has done, she takes her passport and makes her way to the northern border.

Quinn, however, is forced to seek shelter in the dilapidated and remote Baxter Motel after an unforeseen snowstorm forces her off the road. Nick Baxter, the charming and attractive proprietor, is more than pleased to give her a room at a discount for the night.

Sadly, the Baxter Motel isn’t the peaceful, secure retreat that it first appeared to be. The motel has a troubled and sinister history. Additionally, the shadow of Nick’s sick wife may be seen in the run-down house across the street.
