There is a lovely garden close to a remote mansion.

This garden is home to lush flowers and shade trees. and an assortment of priceless “butterflies”—young ladies who have been abducted and have elaborate tattoos that mimic their namesakes. The Gardener, a vicious, deranged guy who is obsessed with catching and conserving his beautiful specimens, is in charge of everything.

A survivor is taken in for interrogation once the garden is found. Agents Victor Hanoverian and Brandon Eddison of the FBI are assigned to solve one of the most horrifying cases they have ever encountered. However, the girl, who goes by Maya, turns out to be a mystery in her own right.

As her narrative unfolds, gradually illuminating Butterfly Garden life, Maya uncovers long-standing grievances, fresh heroes, and horrifying stories of a man who will stop at nothing to control beauty. However, the more she divulges, the more the agents must speculate about what she may still be concealing.
